Groo: The Most Intelligent Man in the World
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

When the barbarian with the lowest I.Q. in the world starts passing out words of wisdom, all of his old cohorts and enemies come out of the woodwork to find out what's wrong...or maybe what's right.  Whatever, no one's more confused than Rufferto, the most loyal dog in Plentia.  Has Groo, a man so stupid he once stayed awake all night to see if he snored, really become smart?  If so, will it last?  (Probably not...)

Groo: Mightier Than the Sword
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

In a savage land of another era, a goodly segment of the world has long been under the heavy thumb of the evil, power-mad despot known as Pipil Khan.  The tyrant wants nothing more than to name an heir and shuck his mortal coil, but one thing stands in his way: Groo! It seems Khan just can't rest easy until Groo is out of the way.  He'll give his kingdom to the one of his sons who can accomplish this most worthy goal.

Groo and Rufferto
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

No dog has ever been so loyal for so long to so stupid a master...and finally it pays off, as the boneheaded barbarian's dog gets a little of the limelight.  A bad run-in with a wizard tests once and for all the bond between this stupid barbarian and his best friend.  Making another accidental stand against tyranny, Groo becomes separated from Rufferto, and an entire city is made to suffer.

Groo: Death and Taxes
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

The three most inevitable things in the world are death, taxes, and another Groo collection from Dark Horse Maverick.  This one is about the other two inevitable things: Groo and his loyal pooch Rufferto encounter a king who is forever raising the cost of living and an undertaker who drives up the cost of dying. So the kingdom goes to war against ... well, they're not exactly sure of that part yet.

The Groo Houndbook
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

The first appearances of Rufferto, Groo's loyal dog, are available for the first time in over ten years!  When the palace dog runs away to seek adventure, he encounters — and becomes enamored with — the world's least intelligent barbarian, Groo!  Rufferto thinks he has found a companion for life, but Groo just thinks he's found dinner.  What's a dumb wanderer and an only slightly smarter dog to do?

The Groo Inferno
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

See Groo recover a magical amulet for an evil wizard, only to end up unknowingly owning it himself — giving the world's dumbest barbarian the power to make anything happen, with the expected ridiculous consequences! See Groo "defend" a village from insidious pirates, in which confusion reigns and nothing is resolved! See ten entire dollars fly out of your wallet, never to be seen again!  What fun.

The Groo Jamboree
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

As we all know, Groo has but one friend in the world — the loyal, royal pooch known as Rufferto.  So what happens when Groo (stupidly, even for him) thinks he has eaten his one friend in the world?  This two-part tale from Groo's past, plus two more equally silly tales comprise the Groo Jamboree!  Celebrate with your very own copy!  Better still, invite everyone you know over and give them each a copy!

The Groo Kingdom
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

Groo the Barbarian has witnessed countless horrors, but can even he face the abomination that is his grandmother?!  In this collection of stories from Groo's past, you will meet the matriarch of the Groo household...and then brace yourself for the wedding of Groo.  It's sure to be the social event of the season...and the best part is that you don't have to kiss the bride.  (When you see her, you'll know why that's a good thing.)

The Groo Library
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

What's a guy who barely knows how to read doing with his very own library?  Even he couldn't resist the four classic (i.e., reprint) Groo tales collected in this handsome volume, including the acclaimed tale of "Rufferto Reverie" — the grand fantasy of Groo's constant canine.  As usual, we make a buck (but not much more) recycling old stories and you buy it because you have a collection going and you need the "L" volume.

The Groo Maiden
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

What is more dangerous than Groo in war? Answer: Groo in love.  Once upon a time, he fell and fell hard for the most dangerous warrior woman of them all, Chakaal, and pursued her (sort of) in a quartet of classic tales, now lovingly collected in this spiffy paperback.  Critics agree that it's better than a lot of things that are not nearly as good.  There's more mulch, more cheese dip, more secret messages, and almost as many laughs!

The Groo Nursery
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

Take four vintage Groo tales...bury them lovingly in the ground...add water and plenty of mulch...and what will blossom will be the latest Groo collection, featuring the creative flowering of Sergio Aragonés and Mark Evanier.  In this handsome volume, we feature "This Island of Felicidad," one of the most popular Groo stories of all time...beautifully drawn and almost as well written as this silly sales copy!

The Groo Odyssey
Sergio Aragonés & Mark Evanier

Pack your bags with four classic tales, including "One Fine Day," the one in which Groo actually manages to wreck a town without even appearing in the story.  You may also enjoy "The Idol," "The Captain of Chinampa," and an episode about the homeless situation we call "The Mendicants."  It all makes for an exciting Groo Odyssey.  Bring along your seasick pills and something or someone to use as a flotation device.

You'll find STUFF WITHOUT GROO IN IT on the previous page
