been more issues of it out lately. Plus, shocking revelations about Groo's
future!

SPOTLIGHT ON TODD KLEIN
At long last, Comic-Con salutes the fine art of lettering! TODD
KLEIN has won every possible award for lettering and won them many
times. He discusses his career and how he does what he does, along with a
look at some of the other great letterers and their handiwork.

THE ANNUAL GOLDEN/SILVER AGE PANEL
Time for the yearly gathering of veteran comic creators discussing the
industry, past and present. Come hear AL FELDSTEIN, AL JAFFEE, JERRY
ROBINSON, VICTOR GORELICK, LARRY LIEBER and RUSS HEATH talk about how it used
to be and can never be again.

and BERNIE WRIGHTSON. Come hear them discuss those days.

They gave us some of the most successful cartoons of the
sixties and seventies, including Scooby Doo, Dynomutt, Thundarr the

Here's a rare chance to meet two of animation's most prolific writers/producers!

SPOTLIGHT ON AL JAFFEE
The creator of the Mad fold-in and many of that magazine's non-folding
features (and winner of this year's Reuben Award), AL JAFFEE, gives
snappy answers to stupid questions about his long and loony career, from his
earliest work for Marvel through his years with Alfred
E. Neuman.

He was the editor of Mad for 28 years and he was already a legend in
comics before he got that job! He was the writer-editor of Tales From

who knew him well.

The industry was shocked and saddened at the loss this year of one of our top
creative talents. Let's have an hour of remembrances and anecdotes from Dave's

examples of the work of) four of the top cover artists in comics: JIM
STARLIN (Captain Marvel, Warlock), BRYAN HITCH
(The Ultimates, Fantastic Four), J.G. JONES (52,
Final Crisis), and ETHAN VAN SCIVER (Flash, Green
Lantern).
