SPOTLIGHT ON STAN AND HUNTER FREBERG
Continued from their SRO appearance last year! STAN FREBERG was

have actual issues of Groo about to come out!

Not doin' nothin' today. I'll probably be
roaming the convention
aimlessly, wandering in and out of Mens' Rooms, trying to
pretend there's a panel in progress and I'm moderating it.

 |
12:30 PM - 1:45 PM / Room 6BCF
QUICK DRAW!
Once again, three cartoonists duel
to the death armed with nothing more than paper, markers and their (un)natural wits. Who will emerge alive, let alone victorious? Competing are SERGIO
ARAGONES, SCOTT SHAW! and illustrator WILLIAM STOUT.
As always, there will be no wagering allowed.

TAKING BACK THE KNIGHT: BATMAN IN THE 70s
How did the Caped Crusader survive the post-sixties era of camp? He was
rescued by a team of talented creators who returned him to his roots, giving him
a makeover that redefined him forever. Discussing that rescue will be
writer DENNY O'NEIL, artist NEAL ADAMS and DC
editor-publisher PAUL LEVITZ.

REMEMBERING DICK GIORDANO
Pause to pay tribute to a much-beloved editor, artist, executive and gentleman.
No one did more to change comics and help new talent than the late DICK
GIORDANO. A bevy of his friends and colleagues including
DENNY O'NEIL and PAUL LEVITZ will try to
find the words.
|
 |
From 8:30 to 10:30 in Room 6BCF,
there'll be the premiere of a new
documentary, WITH GREAT POWER: THE STAN LEE STORY.
It'll be followed by a panel with Stan and several folks who appear in
this documentary, including me.

THE BUSINESS OF CARTOON VOICES
Lots of people think they can do them...but how does one go about making a
