Here are the panels I'm hosting (or on) at the 2006

in San Francisco, February 10-12

Friday, February 10

3:30 PM - 4:30 PM / Room 2018
SPOTLIGHT ON RAMONA FRADON

She was one of the few women artists illustrating superhero comics in the fifties and sixties. Ramona Fradon's work
includes fan-favorite runs on Aquaman and Metamorpho, before she moved into syndicate work on Dale Messick's Brenda Starr comic strip.

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM / Room 2018
GERARD JONES: MEN OF TOMORROW

Last year, author Gerard Jones published Men of Tomorrow, the first full-scale history of the early days of super-hero comics and the men who invented the industry.  Join us for a discussion of Siegel and Shuster, Bob Kane, William Gaines, Harry Donenfeld and many more.

Saturday, February 11

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM / Room 2018
ANIMATION WRITERS: GETTING IN AND STAYING IN

When it comes to the animation industry, you may ask yourself: "How do I get started?" Our panel of experts will answer this question and many more.  Scheduled to appear: MARK EVANIER, PAUL DINI, ALAN BURNETT, ADAM BEECHEN and moderator STAN BERKOWITZ.

3:30 PM - 5:00 PM / Room 2014
A QUICK DRAW SPECIAL EVENT: LOUDER THAN WORDS

SERGIO ARAGONES and Mark Evanier are back with a new spin: Evanier will interview the world's fastest cartoonist who will respond in drawings! That's right: come see the first ever cartoon interview in which our hero, the incredible Sergio, draws responses to all the questions put forth!

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM / Room 2022
MEMORY LANE WITH NOEL NEILL

To many of us, Noel Neill will always be the Lois Lane. The Adventures of Superman TV series, starring George Reeves, Jack Larson and of course, Noel, is being released by Warner Home Video.  We'll interview her about her many years as the living personification of the first lady of comics.

Sunday, February 12

2:30 PM - 4:00 PM / Room 2014
COMIC BOOK WRITERS

A panel discussion with three of WonderCon's special guests: MARK WAID (Legion of Super-Heroes, Flash), PETER DAVID (Fallen Angel, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man), and TERRY MOORE (Strangers In Paradise), about comics writing, characters with and without capes, and much more.
